Join our team as a Senior Full-Stack Developer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and web applications. You'll leverage your expertise in Angular, Java, Spring Framework, and React to develop robust, scalable solutions, from UI/UX design to backend integration. This hybrid role (3 days onsite/2 days remote) offers the opportunity to work on complex projects, including API integrations, mobile-responsive development, and compliance with PCI and WCAG 2.0 standards. Ideal for experienced developers with a strong background in Java development, database management, and public sector digital services.
 
Description

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations. 

Skills
 
Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Development experience: 60% 

(all items are must have)

•    Extensive experience in the use of Angular v7+, JavaScript, Typescript, Node such as NPM, RXJS,

Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot), Bitbucket, REST API, Hibernate/JPA.

•    Experience in integration of commercially available API design and implementation (load balancing, discovery, resiliency).

  • Experience with React

•    10+ UID development, Angular, CSS, Agile paradigm, usage of RSA

•    10+ Java development experience

•    10+ Database experience: Oracle and Open Source DB

 

 UI/UX experience: 25%

•    10 years of extensive hands-on experience with CSS

•    Extensive experience with responsive development and HTML5 (must have)

•    Extensive experience coding for mobile devices (must have)

 

AODA experience:  10%

•    10+ years of experience with developing application in compliance with PCI and WCAG 2.0 Standards, and bringing applications to AODA Compliance (must have)

•    Experience with JAWS, WAI-ARIA, HTML 5, Hi Sheriff (must have)

 

Project experience: 5%:

•    Previous Public Sector Experience and experience on Digital Dealership Registration service is an asset.

Max submission: 1 (one)

Hybrid: 3 Days onsite / 2 days remote

 

Must Have:

•    10+ years' experience in the use of J2EE development tools: WebSphere Application Development environment, utilizing tools such as RSA or Eclipse etc. 

•    Experience in integration of commercially available API design and implementation (load balancing, discovery, resiliency).

•    10+ IBM WebSphere portal development experience, experience with IBM Urban Code tools.

•    10+ years' experience Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x, JSP

  • Experience with React

Prior Experience with DDR (Digital Dealership Registration) Project
